SharePoint 2016 + Office Online Server @mention in docs missing?

Hello,

I have a question about SharePoint 2016 + Office Online Server integration. When I edit documents I don't see possibility to mention people in comments (when I'm trying by typing @GN there nothing is happening - there is even no people suggestions menu).

Is it possible to achieve this feature inside docs served by OOS?

I can confirm that @mention feature works in sharepoint but not in docs served by OOS

    This functionality isn't present in OOS.

    Currently, the feature of @mentions for comments is only available in Office clients for SharePoint Server 2016.

    As Trevor suggests, you are more than welcome to share your ideas and suggestions via SharePoint UserVoice so that Microsoft Team can look into it.
