I downloaded and installed Visual C++ 2008 from following link.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/confirmation.aspx?id=15336
But It not working in my laptop. Please support and suggest me to run in my system.
System Configuration:
Window 10 Enterprise
RAM: 16 GB
System type: 64 bit operating system,x64 based processor

Hi AmitSingh, do you meet any issues during the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)? If so, would you please share the detail error message that you met?
Since the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) is old and supported on Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows XP, to avoid the incompatible issues and for Windows 10 system, it is recommended to install the recently version like the Visual C++ 2015/2017/2019 Redistributable.

I installed "vcredist_x64.exe" (Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)) in window 10.
I am not getting any Error. But Software is not running. because, there is no any installer and icon generated on desktop window/Start Menu after installation. I think it installed but it is not working/run.
As per project Requirement, we need to install and Run Visual C++ 2008 Edition software in Window 10.
Can you suggest what to do for this?

One things, As saraLiu mentioned that, for Windows 10 system, it is recommended to install the recently version like the Visual C++ 2015/2017/2019 Redistributable. Is it True?
The last supported version (VC++ and/or redistributable) is 2010 : older-downloads

you downloaded the redistributable package, not the Developer Studio. A redistributable package is not the developer studio, the redist only installs libraries and stuff used by software that was written with VS 2008 .
2008 is far too old and it's not supported anymore. Why do you want to use VS 2008? Why don't you use a new version?
Nevertheless, if you need 2008, then maybe this post can help (without warranty): https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15318560/visual-c-2008-express-download-link-dead There is a link with a setup but I don't know what is downloaded and installed, because I didn't test the reply in the stackoverflow post (because I don't use 2008). You should use a new VS version from here: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/

I remember reading that even if VC++ 2008 Express is available it may need to be registered to be usable beyond a trial period. And at this point in time, that may no longer be possible.
The requirement to register was only for the online installed version.
The Express versions from iso were for sites that may not have online
access so registration wasn't/isn't required.
