Windows Server Essential 2019 license inactivation

Question

I bought Windows Server Essential 2019 license and activated the license in February this year, but it has come up with a message that you need to activate your Window Server license.

Kindly advise.

What happens if you try to activate?

• slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
• slmgr /ato

Hey,

Please open PowerShell and use the Get-ItemProperty Cmdlet, to check server’s properties.

Get-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" | Select ProductName, ReleaseId, InstallationType, CurrentMajorVersionNumber,CurrentMinorVersionNumber,CurrentBuild
