I recently bought a server that keeps crashing randomly. I had Ubuntu on it, changed to windows server 2019 standard. No difference. I am using it for a PLEX media server. Any ideas? I've attached link to dmp and speccy.

    Pretty vague but I'd check here and with manufacturer about support for Server 2019
    https://www.windowsservercatalog.com/

    also check the manufacturer's site for the latest ROM bios, firmware, chipset and driver support pack.

    @Anonymous , I'm sorry. I will attempt to be more specific:

    I have tried multiple OS with the same crashing problems.

    The unit came with Ubuntu 19.04.

    I upgraded it to 20.04. Didn't solve the crashing.

    I installed Windows 10. Same issues.

    I installed Windows Server 2012 R2. Same Issues.

    I installed Windows Server 2019. Same issues.

    The system will randomly hang or restart automatically. When it is hung, I can not do anything except hard restart.

    When the system comes back online, It has a blue screen warning:

    "Keep the USB drive plugged in. Only remove it after your PC has shut down completely. Otherwise, your Windows To Go workspace might crash and you could lose data."

    There are no USB drives plugged in to this unit. The only usb device is the KVM switch, which is attached to the server and a desktop PC.

    @Anonymous

    Can you look at the dmp files and see what is causing the crashes? I dont know what I'm looking at when I open the files. considering that it has happened with multiple OS, I'm doubtful that its a support issue.

    I'd start with checking here and with manufacturer about support for Server 2019
    https://www.windowsservercatalog.com/

    also check the manufacturer's site for the latest ROM bios, firmware, chipset and driver support pack. Dump debugging is beyond scope of forums support. For this I'd suggest starting a case with product support.
