Hide Mobile Number on users contact card within teams/outlook

Hi, I'm looking to hide the mobile number when you hover on a users' contact card within Teams/outlook. I need the phone number for certain products to register MFA (well make it easy to manage) (can be done manually, but would rather not). Do I need to use another field?
Is it possible to just hide that for XYZ OU of users, yet admins and syncs see it?

thanks,

    Hi @Austin Wheeler

To me I suppose it is not possible.

The mobile number in Teams and Outlook is stored and extracted from Azure AD.

You may use some features like Address Book Policy or Information barrier to limit the read scope of the users in the XYZ OU.
But besides only hiding some of the contact information (like mobile phone number) to them, this would also prevent them from searching and communicating with other users.

    Hi there,

May be this can be done from the user end.

To show or hide your contact information:
    Open Teams.
Tap your profile picture, then tap Settings.
Tap Privacy, then tap Your profile.
From here you can Hide or Show your email, phone number, or both.

Manage what contact information others can view in Teams https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/manage-what-contact-information-others-can-view-in-teams-31cb5970-c1f0-40cf-bfb3-37e54b2f0fa0

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions please let me know and I will be glad to help you out.
