The use of the https://support.microsoft.com/kb/123456 style URLs as references to Microsoft’s unified support library has become so deeply embed in my memory I cant remember when it was started, it seems like it has been there forever. But it looks like things are about to change.
According to a post by Christopher Kilbourn “Microsoft is moving its Developer & IT Professional primary support content (also known as Knowledge Base – or KB - articles) from https://support.microsoft.com Web site to MSDN and TechNet, respectively.”
I will keep you posted on this as more details emerge.
