I was just reading the Year in DRM articles on DRM Watch and I saw an interesting mention of the SpiralFrog service -- one that uses NetZero's ad-supported model to allow users to download subscription content. What's even more interesting is that this is precisely what Mark Cuban suggested someone do in a recent post to his blog (Googlenomics, Itunes, and Zune).
I'll keep an eye out for SpiralFrog...
