I recently polled our Facebook
followers about how they spend their summer:
“What do most teachers do during the summer
months?” The answers were incredibly varied and surprising. For example,
one teacher wrote, “I take
classes, revise lesson plans and try to recover from the emotional drain of the
school year.” Which got me
thinking: when do you usually begin thinking about
tackling your plans for the next year? I'd love to hear from you.

I am working on getting my teacher's licensure. I always thought teachers prepare for the upcoming school year during the summer time. Apparently this one lady does. But what about everyone else?Anonymous

Thanks for sharing Robyn! I polled our Facebook audience and many of them said they spend time preparing lesson plans, spend time with their family or go on vacation. If you're on Facebook or Twitter, feel free to reach out to us there as well! Happy Summer! -Eric B. Community Manager, Mouse Mischief
