Windows 7 Problem Steps Recorder

image Keith Combs has just published a screen cast on EDGE about an really excellent tool in Windows 7 which allows users to record and document errors they are finding with applications running on Windows 7 called the Problem Steps Recorder.

In the case Keith shows how the tool records all the common dialogs and then packages it up into a HTML file which can be sent to the help desk so that they can look at it in more detail.

The analysis is excellent, complete with a step by step account of the users interaction with the application.
