IWMSBroadcastPublishingPoint2::put_EnableStartVRootOnServiceStart

The put_EnableStartVRootOnServiceStart method specifies a Boolean value that indicates whether the publishing point automatically starts when Windows Media Services starts.

• **Note   **Except for Windows Server 2003, Web Edition, this method is available only on the x64-based versions of Windows Server 2003 and on the 32-bit versions of Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1. This method is also available on Window Server 2008.

Syntax

  HRESULT put_EnableStartVRootOnServiceStart(
  VARIANT_BOOL  newVal
);

Parameters

newVal

[in]  VARIANT_BOOL that indicates whether the publishing point automatically starts when Windows Media Services starts.

Return Values

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code	Description
S_OK	The method succeeded.

Remarks

The default value is VARIANT_FALSE.
