IWMSBroadcastPublishingPoint::put_AllowClientToStartAndStop

The put_AllowClientToStartAndStop method specifies a Boolean value that indicates whether a stopped publishing point can be started when a client tries to receive a broadcast from it.

Syntax

  HRESULT put_AllowClientToStartAndStop(
  VARIANT_BOOL  newVal
);

Parameters

newVal

[in] VARIANT_BOOL that indicates whether the IWMSBroadcastPublishingPoint::Start method must be called when a client attempts to receive a broadcast.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Return code Number Description
NS_E_PUBLISHING_POINT_REMOVED 0xC00D145AL The publishing point has already been removed.

Remarks

The default value is VARIANT_TRUE.
