IWMSOutgoingDistributionConnection::get_ResolvedURL

The get_ResolvedURL method retrieves the URL of the content being streamed to the distribution connection.

Syntax

  HRESULT get_ResolvedURL(
  BSTR*  pVal
);

Parameters

pVal

[out] Pointer to a BSTR that contains the URL.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Return code Number Description
DISP_E_BADINDEX 0x8002000B The value does not exist.
E_POINTER 0x80004003 pVal is a NULL pointer argument.

Remarks

The URL identifies the location of the content. For example, file://c:\wmpub\wmroot\movie.wmv indicates that the content resides in the movie.wmv file in the c:\wmpub\wmroot\ directory.
