While get user’s list of followed sites (using application permissions). By calling /users/{user-id}/followedSites endpoint gives "General exception while processing”

Hi team,

I was trying to get user’s list of followed sites (using application permissions). But calling /users/{user-id}/followed Sites endpoint gives "General exception while processing” error
and not able to know the root cause for this issue. Is something know issue or is it permission related issue.

Per my test, I can reproduce your error by calling /users/{user-id}/followedSites endpoint. After doing some research, I found that there is no such endpoint currently. I am unable to found any offical document about the api, and currently only support following api

POST /users/{user-id}/followedSites/add POST /users/{user-id}/followedSites/remove GET /me/followedSites

using this endpoint /users/{user-id}/followedSites was working with application and delegated permission. Recently we are facing this issue.
Integration of this endpoint before it was working fine, it any changes in endpoint recently happened or what alternative endpoint is available for the same to get the followed site by the user Id

Per my test, the endpoint is not supported. And I haven't found any update in graph changelog. Currently we can only get the current user followedSites by the following api.

GET /me/followedSites

I feel regretful to inform you that it turns out to be a by-design one. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Thanks for your understanding.

so this endpoint will work only for delegated permission, i am correct.
and we don't have any point currently with application permission.

Yes, but the endpoint is only to get the signed in user's followed sites. We are unable to get other user's followed sites by this endpoint

/users/{user-id}/followedSites this endpoint should work with delegated permission to get other user sites i believe . This will not work with application permission as per documents. I will check with both endpoint. Thanks

I was using /users/{user-id}/followedSites/ with delegated permission.
and I was getting the above exception
So just for my clarification
this end point /users/{user-id}/followedSites/ is not available both with delegated and application permission right?

Yes, I am unable to use endpoint /users/{user-id}/followedSites too. It seems this endpoint is no available currently. We can only use get current login user's follow site by GET /me/followedSites right now.

using the endpoint
/users/{user-id}/followedSites was working fine before using application permission. Recently we are facing issue with this endpoint.
May I know is anything changes recently or any alternative endpoint to get the followed sites by using user ID.
