Need help for following,

In our environment, we have 2 exchange mailbox server 2016. we are using Veritas NetBackup as Backup Solution.
in exchange node 1 out of 2 facing issue 'Microsoft Exchange Writer showing unstable.

Is there any idea?

May I know if there are any other error messages when this occurs?

Based on my research regarding this kind of situation, please try restarting the Information Store Service on the problematic server and see if there would be any improvement.

Besides, it's also recommended to contact the support for Veritas NetBackup to confirm if they have seen similar reports from other users and whether they could provide any possible solutions on this.

Thanks for your suggestion.

If we restart the problematic server then it works, every day we need to restart the server. We need to know that this is normal behavior or this is an issue from the exchange.

Hi @Nur Hossain ,

As this only occurs to one of the two servers in your environment, it seems to me that probably it may not be a normal behavior.
Then I tried to search on the "Waiting for completion" state of Microsoft Exchange Writer in the screenshot you shared and found the following thread which discusses a similar issue from the Windows server forum. According to the suggestion provided by Alvin, it's suggested to try re-registering the VSS DLLs and check if there would be any improvement:
