Azure AutoML and Blob Access Issue

Just created an student account, trying to follow https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/machine-learning/tutorial-first-experiment-automated-ml to create a demo, but unable to process after creating a folder and uploading the example csv file. User's image

Thank you for your response. I'm sorry to hear that skipping the data validation step did not work.

To resolve the issue, please ensure that the path provided for the MLTable file is correct and that you have the necessary permissions and access rights to the Blob storage account and then follow the steps to create the Blob storage account correctly and try again.

If the issue still persists, request you to raise a support case through Azure portal for further assistance.

The file was provided by Azure, it's included in the tutorial. I am new to Azure, same as the account. Since the tutorial has not mentioned anything about the permission, I just assume necessary permission shall be granted automatically. I wanted to create an Azure ticket, but I don't have developer support plan, the system guided me to use the community. As stated in the original description, I cannot upgrade to developer plan neither.

Thank you for your question.

The error message you received suggests that the system was unable to validate or inspect the data/schema of the dataset you were trying to access using a MLTable file in Azure Machine Learning.

To proceed with creating the dataset, it's recommended to click the "Skip data validation" button and continue with the next steps. This will allow you to bypass the validation steps and proceed directly to creating the dataset without the system attempting to validate the data.

I was able to reproduce the issue and successfully create the dataset by skipping the data validation step.

Please find a snapshot of the successful "Data asset" creation below.

Skipping data verification allows you to upload the data by temporary ignoring the error but the same error continues to occur later on in the lab exercise. The dataset continues to be unavailable for use in the next steps in the lab. Can we get an answer on how to solve?

I have the same problem following the tutorial https://microsoftlearning.github.io/mslearn-ai-fundamentals/Instructions/Labs/01-machine-learning.html.

After uploading the data (CSV file and MLTable downloaded and extracted as per instructions), I first get the error:

The provided path is not valid or the files could not be accessed. If you want to proceed, consider checking "Skip data validation" and click "Next." We will not validate your data path or query, or try to access your data for preview and schema checks.

To proceed, I have to click Skip data validation. I then click Review and Create, but when I click on the dataset to try to view it, I get the error:

Error loading data preview

NotFound.

Error: Request failed with status code 400

This may well be a permissions problem but I have no idea how to fix it. Since this is a beginner's tutorial, one would expect this to have been tested and bugs like this ironed out.
