Can someone explain to me how to use Outlook's anonymous permissions?

What is anonymous option in the outlook permission setting (Outlook > right clicking Folder in the left pane > sharing and permissions > anonymous ).

    As i know, Anonymous allows non-organization users to access a shared folder via its URL. That means, if they know the URL of this shared folder, they can access and view it even though they are not the users in the organization.
