RDP for MAC USB Forwarding

How can I make a XBox Series X/S gamepad wired over usb to my mac be forwarded to a RDP for mac to my windows session?

Is there any Microsoft at least non-free solution for that?

Seems like native mac rdp app is unable to do so.
But if you run a windows VM, and use rdp from there you'll be able to use your gamepads over rdp (although you'll need some additional steps on both your host and remote machine to do so)
As an other option you can use moonlight client + sunshine server for screencasting, which also allows you to forward your gamepad on the remote pc (at least it works with my dualsence, so i guess xbox gamepad should also be fine), and on top of that it provides way better framerate (although at the cost of using more resources on the remote pc, gpu in particular). So if you plan on using that for running games on the remote pc, i'd really advised you to consider using moonlight.

Simply expand your settings and verify your input device. If your device is supported for redirection, utilize it within your remote session.

For that to work on a windows client I had to enable RemoteFX with editing administrative templates. On Mac however it doesn't seem that RemoteFX is present. And a controller of this kind is not seen there.
