    Hello

If your HP laptop is experiencing the "INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE" BSOD error during or after the deployment process using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), it may be due to driver compatibility issues or incorrect configuration. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Inject SATA or RAID Drivers: The "INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE" error could be caused by the operating system not having the necessary drivers for the storage controller on your HP laptop. You can download the latest SATA or RAID drivers for your specific model from the HP support website and inject them into your MDT deployment task sequence. To do this, add the drivers to the Out-of-Box Drivers in MDT and ensure they are applied during the deployment process.
    2. Check BIOS Settings: Ensure that the BIOS settings on your HP laptop are correctly configured for the deployment. Check settings related to the storage controller mode (e.g., AHCI, RAID), Secure Boot, and UEFI Boot Mode. Try changing these settings if necessary to ensure compatibility with the deployment process.
    3. Update Deployment Share: Make sure your MDT deployment share is up to date with the latest Windows PE drivers and configurations. Update the deployment share in MDT to incorporate any changes or driver additions you have made.
    4. Verify Disk Configuration: Check the disk configuration and partition layout during the deployment process. Ensure that the correct partitions are created and formatted as part of the deployment task sequence. Incorrect disk configurations can lead to boot device errors.
    5. Run CHKDSK: If the laptop is stuck in a reboot loop with the "INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE" error, you can try running CHKDSK from the Windows Recovery Environment to check for and repair any disk errors. Boot into the recovery environment, open a Command Prompt, and run the command: chkdsk /f /r C: (replace "C:" with the appropriate drive letter).
    6. Inspect Deployment Logs: Review the deployment logs in MDT to identify any specific errors or warnings that may be related to the boot device issue. Look for any errors during the "Install Operating System" step and troubleshoot accordingly.
