Hello,
I have a question about Windows 11 Multi Session (23H2) image for using with Azure Virtual Desktop.
The search function does not seem to find any documents on desktop or other locations on the virtual machine. I have tried this on our specified image but the clean image does have the same problem:
The documents category does not give any results either.
Is this by design? Can it be enabled? How can it be enabled?

The Searching Windows option in "Settings" is not visible either on this version of Windows.

First thing I'd check is whether searching is enabled Win+i, Privacy & Security, Searching Windows
I don't know what the defaults should be but if they exclude all the files you are searching for it could be an explanation.

The "Searching Windows" option is not visible in the settings menu on this image. I have tried multiple versions of the Windows 11 Enterprise Multi-session image but they all doesn't have this option.
Also i tried rebuilding the index through Indexing options, chose which paths to index but after indexing has completed it would not find files.
Searching in File Explorer does give the results i want by the way.
Also i have done some research if this has something to do with FSLogix or Azure Virtual Desktop optimizations but cannot find how it works.

If Windows 11 Multi-Session 23H2 is not finding your documents, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

My own conclusion till now is that it is part of the optimizations of the Windows 11 Enterprise Multi-session image. I have tried 3 deployments and all have this problem. I dont know it for sure because i cannot find it in the officialm documentation of Microsoft.
