MCSA windows server

Hello
I am reading 3 books of MCSA 2016 (70-740 , 70-741 , 70-742) But Microsoft wants to retire this exam
I want to know what is the new references and what is new Microsoft Windows server certification

should i stop reading old books and start to read new books ?
i heard that windows server will not at new certification system anymore . is it right ?

Even though they are getting retired, you can appear for these certification which would be valid for 2 years.

Unfortunately you won't see exact similar replacement exams
