MS Graph search in Path not finding results

I've been trying to create a search function that will look in MS Graph Sharepoint to find a file within a specific folder. Consider the following search/query endpoint body:

In the folder 00888 [633] I have 5 files:

sharepoint

And when i run the query it find the verslag Niels.docx, but if i look for Blobsize i don't get any result. PCF and testcalc_ also don't give any result back...

Reopen the graph explorer to search the file/folder by using below codes(Remember to replace your own site and file path):

Doesn't seem to work for me, it still doesn't find the file. But when I ask to get all the children from this folder, it does give me back all 5 files.

Try searching for files/folders using the following code:

https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/sites/site-id/drives/drive-id/root/search(q='testcalc')

I do get multiple results using that method but it's not ideal cause this file exists in multiple locations within that Sharepoint. So that's why I need a way to search a file within a specific folder.

Hi @Stan ,

Graph Search is working only for root folder but not for subfolders (no recusrsive search).

The search query returned no results for you. This is really weird.

Try to create a new folder, then use Move to or Copy to function to migrate files into newly created folder. After that, try to search files in the Microsoft Graph again.

Seems that it's just not possible to search for an item using part of the filename to get a result... Which is a shame but I'll just see if this is acceptable.
