Dependency validation message

I got this message that says: "One or more projects must be updated to perform dependency validation" and in the output window it told me to check "analyze the entire solution." Then it showed me a form where I had marked "Analyze the project" and I marked "Analyze the solution". Now I can't find a place to put it back as it was and every time I run a project it analyzes all of them and if one has an error it doesn't let me continue.

Hi @zequion,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Please disable entire solution analysis by opening Tools > Options > Text Editor > C#Advanced tab > select the background analysis scope from the Run background code analysis for: dropdown list.

You can temporarily disable dependency validation by going to Tools > Options > Dependency ValidationGeneral.
