Hello,

I am currently trying to open files from a WebDav drive using Office products (Excel, Word).

Unfortunately, I always get the error message "Certificate error Internal error in the application when loading the SSL libraries", with Wordpad, for example, it works.

The client I am trying to use is a Windows Server 2022 with Office 2021.

I have already adjusted some settings in TrustCenter and I have also installed the certificate from the server.

As a note, the drive is only accessible via v6.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you very much.

    Hi @JR_482

Via searching online, if TLS 1.2 is not enabled, you may get such error message.

Besides, please make sure connection between your Windows server and a WebDAV drive works properly. Here is a link you may have a look: https://nerdia.net/2016/03/26/connecting-a-windows-client-to-a-webdav-drive/

(Please Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may changed without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.)

If this protocol has been enabled, I suggest you open a ticket with Microsoft Support to help review your issue and help you test remotely. Microsoft support may collect Office logs and use Ping and Telnet to this WebDav drive.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Update:

I have installed LibreOffice to test another programme. I can also use it to edit and save the files without any problems. So it really seems to be a pure Microsoft Office problem.
