how to turn off "grant access" windows when I open docs in MS word for mac?

Every time I try to open a document in MS Word for Mac, I get a Grant access window in which I have to click on grant access. How do I turn this off? I haven't recently updated my OS software.

    Click on the Apple icon in the Menu bar> System Preferences> Security & Privacy> Privacy> See whether the Word is present and if it's not, please click on the + and add the Word app to see the outcome.
