Hello,
I want to switch from MBR to UEFI via mbr2gpt. I use Windows 10 64 bit pro.
First I have to use the mbr2gpt.exe with my System-Boot-Harddisk.
Will Windows 10 recognize my other HDDs (only Data, no System Disks) after a reboot or will I have to use the mbr2gpt on ALL my Harddisks ?
Will Windows 10 boot from the new GPT Disk and recognize the other remaining mbr disks when CSM is off in the Bios ?
Thank you for your help.

Markus

    Hello Markus,
First, we cannot use the MBR2GPT to convert non-system disks from MBR to GPT, so you don’t need to consider using the mbr2gpt on ALL of your Harddisks. Windows will recognize your other HDD.
About the Second question, I am not sure. I prefer to yes. UEFI boot needs boot partition must be GPT while other partitions don’t need.
