Teams v2 always running 2 apps and 2 windows

Question

Why since v2 of Teams am I forced to have 2 Teams apps/sessions open on my machine. One is my personal and one is my business. Then I am a guest tenant of some of my clients and I can only get to these tenants by going into my personal Teams session and then selecting these other tenants, I do not see the other tenants from my Business Teams sessions.

MS has really screwed this stuff up since v2. It was much better before they forced us to go to v2 without a choice.

Only one of the 2 teams sessions running on my machine shows a green circle, that is my Business and the then the other is my Personal no green. I can only quit team from the Business the personal has no way to exit.

I do not want the Personal Teams to be running but you are forcing me to manage my business from the Personal. This is a total bug in the software and piss poor design.

Could you please tell me if you log in to your personal account by default when you open Teams and need to switch to your work account to work? Or do you need two windows, one to log in to your personal account and the other to log in to your work account?

If it is the former, please refer to Teams will always log into the domain-joined PC account.

If it is the latter, please try to log in to your work account using the Teams client and log in to your personal account using the web client. https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/
