About the difference between office21Excel21 and Office21Standard21 in configuration file

Hi everyone, I am confused of the situation I faced about the installation of Excel in a non-network environment. I downloaded the configuration file from Office Customer tools for downloading Excel only in a non-network VM. I am using KMS key at first for installation of Excel in VM, but after installation, I am informed that MAK key which haven't activated is required for the product key. Therefore I do the same procedure again for a MAK key configuration file. Everything is done and I am using command "setup /configuration (configuration file).xml" , the result is Excel is installed again but also in KMS key. I tried many method for this but still not work for changing it into the MAK key.

Luckily, when I changed the product ID of the configuration file from Standard2021Volume to Excel2021Volume. It worked, the Excel was installed with some procedure of the activation of MAK key. All I want to know is why it works?

Please check the Office product license you purchased.

If you purchased the MAK key for volume licensed versions of Excel 2021, this key cannot activate other versions of Office apps.

Besides, according to "List of Product IDs that are supported by the Office Deployment Tool for Click-to-Run", the product ID is Excel2021Volume.
