Install newest OneNote Version beside Office 2021 LTSC

We have Office 2021 LTSC installed and would like to install the newest OneNote version. It is not possible to switch the whole Office Suite to 365 (Licence reasons).

Is there a way to install the latest OneNote version beside the Office 2021 Suite? I tried to install OneNote using the official installer, but it requests to deinstall Office 2021 first.

    There is a way to install OneNote in a existing instalation of Ofice using the Office Deployment Tool and the following configuration.xml file to add OneNote

    Bumping this because the question is still unanswered.

    OneNote for Windows 10 is now deprecated and I cannot install the maintained version despite the suggestions above.
