Microsoft OneDrive - Logs/Information for IT-Administrators?

Greetings,

I am responsible for the IT in my company. My colleagues connect via the Microsoft-Remotedesktop-Client to their Azure Virtual Desktop. Most oft the part it is working fine, except OneDrive. Either it is trying to sign in for hours and hours or it tries to sync thousands and thousands of files, even when the microsoft teams library, that we want to sync, has just a small amount of files.

Our OneDrive-Version: Build 24.181.0908.0001 (64-Bit)

My question is, do IT-Administrators have any real chances for troubleshooting here? Are there any logs to see, what OneDrive is doing at the moment?

When someone is experiencing problems, all we can try to do is resetting OneDrive (This sometimes takes hours and hours and won't fix it every time), renaming the OneDrive folder, so it creates a new one, closing and reopening OneDrive or signing off the AVD and sign in again.

This seems not to be the ideal solution. Maybe someone knows more about this software and can provide his or her knowledge.

Thanks alot in advance and best regards!

    Hi,

The OneDrive log files are located: %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\OneDrive\logs

Since the log files are encrypted, you can't view it directly, and you need professional Microsoft technicians to help you here. It is recommended that you contact Microsoft Global Services:
