Mark complete in Outlook Quick Step not working

I use Outlook on the Web in Edge, with Conversation View enabled.

I've created a "Complete" Quick Step with the following configuration:

  • Mark as read
  • Mark complete
  • Move to Archive

I use this Quick Step on individual emails in a conversation.

This used to work 100% until recently. Now the "Mark complete" step seems to be skipped: the email is marked as read and moved to Archive correctly, but it doesn't get marked complete. If I remove the "Move to Archive" step, the email is marked complete successfully. I've also tried reordering the steps, but this makes no difference.

    Hi @DB365-3161

    Welcome to our forum!

Here are some steps you may refer to:

    1. Recreate the Quick Step: Delete the existing Quick Step and create a new one with the same configuration. This can sometimes resolve issues caused by corrupted settings.
    2. Clear the browser: Clear your browser cache, log out of Outlook for Web, refresh your browser, and log back in to see if the issue persists.
    3. Change another browser: If the issue persists, to further confirm if the issue is related to your browser, it is recommended please try using a different browser to see if the settings work.

    Hope it helps!
