Hello. It seems that our tenant currently has an Office 365 E1 license. From my understanding, a Microsoft Entra P1 or P2 license is required to create multiple Entra ID-type tenants. However, I noticed that it is still possible to create multiple Entra ID-type tenants even with just an Office 365 E1 license. Could you clarify if this is indeed possible?

    Hi @유진

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

I understand that you are trying to create multiple Entra ID-type tenants.

Can I know where you noticed that you could create tenant in Office 365 E1 license?

Microsoft Entra ID P1 is available as a standalone or included with Microsoft 365 E3 and Microsoft Entra ID P2 is available as a standalone or included with Microsoft 365 E5.

Using Office 365 E1 license it is not supported to create multiple Entra tenants. You need to have Entra P1 or P2 license to create multiple Entra ID-type tenants.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you have any further queries.
