Client setting configuration

I found there is a setting "Additional software manages the deployment of application and software updates" in client settings, the default value is No, when should I enable this setting?

Anyone has experience on this?

Hello,

You should enable this option only if you want users can install apps from the application catalog.

    You use a vendor solution that requires this setting to be enabled.

    You use the Configuration Manager software development kit (SDK) to manage client agent notifications, and the installation of applications and software updates.
