Teams links timeing out

I've been asked to make a list of Links or "rooms" for Teams cohorts, there's 3 cohorts, 5 rooms each including a main room and 4 breakout rooms that are preset. We can't use official breakout rooms but thats a completely separate issue.

Day 1 — I make the list of rooms, test them, other people test them, they all work and have the correct lobby.
A couple of days later — they now all lead back to the same room and all say everyone can bypass the lobby when actually no one can.

I'm unsure how many days this actually takes because I realised today that rooms I made last week, now don't work and thats frustrating because they will be needed next week! So I've made a test for myself to check up on tomorrow.

It's pretty confusing, last year in December I did the same thing for 5 different cohorts, our facilitators and delegates understand this process and they all worked perfectly. We can't use official breakout rooms but even if we could, that's asking everyone to figure something new out when this is a thing that works for us.

    Hi @KatieWoollin-4023,

Does this issue persist all the time?

What kinds of meeting are you schedule? Meet now or regular meeting?

In my experience, if you use Meet now, the meeting expire time is the start time + 8 hours. The following picture shows each types of meeting expiration time for your reference:

In addition, please make sure you have the latest version of Teams client.
