How to fix the DLPORTIO.SYS device driver error

"I'm encountering an error when I try to run the application on Windows 10. Could you please explain why this error might be occurring and how I can fix it?".

I did not find DLPORTIO.SYS on my Win11 laptop or my Win10 VM's. It does not appear to be a Microsoft developed driver.

I found this on Q&A. The one answer says to download the driver from the manufacturers web site but it does not provide a link.

It says that "DLPortIO.SYS is not compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows", so I would presume that on Win10, that is your problem.

One of the user comments says that it is no longer supported.

You should contact the developer or support team for whatever application you are running and verify that the version you have is supported on Windows 10.
