Managing profiles and sync in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I'm using Windows 10 & 11 across 3 different computers along with Edge as my browser. I have 3 different profiles set up that I like to keep separate from each other (e.i. like favorites, settings and such).
I ran into a problem a few days ago where ALL profiles were syncing together.
So profile 1 is syncing with profile's 2 & 3 across all computers. That's not what I want.
What I DO want is to sync profile 1's favorites, settings, etc, with ONLY profile 1, across ALL computers. Same with profile 2 & 3. I want to keep each profile separate from each other.
Is this possible and how do I do it? I have turned off syncing but now Profile 1 doesn't sync to Profile 1 on my other computers browsers. What's going on and what did I do wrong?
Grateful for anyone's help on this. Please and thank you ♥

Hello, Maui Trader
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Thank you for your feedback. It looks like the current config file may be messed up. You need to take a backup of all your current configuration files. After that go to your account center and clean up your sync settings, under Devices, Cloud Sync (profiles 1 and 2). After that type in the EDGE address bar:
edge://sync-internals/
In the bottom right corner, select Clean Sync (clean up server data), and after that click Request Sync. Do the same for your other profiles.
I look forward to your feedback, which will help me locate your problem.
