I am trying to connect my flipgrid to my Teams. Flipgrid is asking for an integration link and I'm not finding it anywhere. Where do I find the Microsoft Teams Integration Link?

    Hi Susan Bass (South),

Thanks getting back to me with these informative screenshots, appreciate that.

According to my test, I finally find the Integration Link following the instruction PDF. I noticed that you mentioned you didn’t find the Connectors in Teams channel, please do the part 1:Creating a Flipgrid Tab again to see if you can find the option in Teams channel.

Here is how I get the link:

1: go to your flip account, create a new topic, get the join code.

2: click add a tab in Teams channel, search for flipgrid, enter the flip join code, click save.

3:In this Team channel, click more options > connectors > configure Flipgrid >visit site to install, then you will see the a new website pop out and you can create an integration there.

I hope this answer is helpful to you. Thanks for your efforts on this issue, if you have any unclear about this please feel free to ask, we are always here to help.

    Regards,

    Grace

Well I'm not exactly sure. The following link (https://static.flipgrid.com/docs/Teams_Integration.pdf) is a PDF that allegedly provided the instructions for adding a "connector" so that students would be able to see when new topics were posted to our Flipgrid from Teams. It is also supposed to enable students to respond via the Flipgrid tab I have already made without leaving teams, so I hope that will enable me to also grade it and provide feedback right there in Teams without going back and forth between the two programs. I say that this document linked above allegedly provides me instructions because the "Connectors" option those instructions tell me to click does not exist as you can see in your own screenshot. I have attempted to use the "link" option as you showed and it did not work on the Flipgrid side of things.

    1. Teams Integration from Flipgrid: Clicked on the link for that in the drop down menu of the group I wanted to share.

    2.  Microsoft Integration Link Page on Flipgrid: That took me to this page, I could not find any information on what an Integration Link was and where I could find that so I attempted to do just what you recommended and click link this channel of Teams.

    3.  When I entered the link it provided me in teams, I got this response. So obviously not the link I needed.

    1. So I decided to click that link to get step by step instructions:

    1. Opened the PDF and followed instructions for creating a tab which is much of what I wanted. But when I went to the "Connectors" page (page 2):

I tried to follow the instructions and "connectors" isn't an option in the menu it directed me to.

    1. I then started poking around and found a Microsoft discussion in the help section which stated that as of July 29th 2020 Microsoft didn't know what an Integration Link was. I therefore turned back to flipgrid and found this document also explaining the purpose of connecting the two programs to get "Notifications":

    Hi Susan Bass (South),

May I confirm with you that if you want to connect with the Teams channel? If it is your scenario, go to Teams channel, click more option > Get link to Team, please refer to the snapshot:

If it is not what you want, since Flipgrid is a third-party integration with Microsoft teams, to better understand your scenario, could you please provide us some related screenshot and detail steps, so we can understand your issue properly and offer different suggestions?

    Your cooperation is much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Grace
