Remove pop up message.

Question

How do you remove a pop up on your screen to let you know that someone sent you a message in Teams? I did it yesterday and it worked but today when I logged in, the pop up messages started again.

Thank you for choosing Microsoft community.

You can get notifications for update from Teams and Channels, Chat, Meetings, People, etc. Based on your description, I think you might be talking about turning off notification for incoming Chat messages?

If this is your concern, please go to ... (More options) > Settings > Notifications > Chat> Edit.

Make sure you have turned off notifications for all items under Chat - @mentions, Messages, Likes and reactions.

However, the above operation only prevents you from getting notifications for update from Chat. You can still be notified by update from teams & channels, meetings, people, etc. To prevent yourself from getting notifications for all updates, you need to enter each every field which is framed in yellow above and edit items thereunder.

I have Teams installed and Windows pesters me to install it. Wonder who the Einstein is that did that.
