WVD in azure with Windows Server O/S as Session Host !!!

Hello Team

I am planning to deploy WVD in azure with Server 2016 o/s as session host. The question I have is do I need to deploy License Server on a VM in azure with RDS cals in order to use server 2016 o/s as session host?

any help is appreciated

    Hi @Punditji

    Yes this is correct. Unlike Windows 10 single or multi-session Client OS, you do need to install the license Server when deploying RDSH VMs (Server OS) with WVD.

    The following roles will be managed by Microsoft:
    -Remote Desktop Connection Broker
    -Remote Desktop Gateway
    -Remote Desktop Web Access

    You will manage the following:
    -Remote Desktop License Server
    -Remote Desktop Session Host
