automatic archiving msg while typing

I would like to know why it is that every time that I begin an email it AUTOMATICALLY ARCHIVES ON ME without me choosing to do this! It always happens as I am in my very first damn sentence. All of a sudden it stalls, then I see that is says "archiving" and then it's frigging GONE! Then I am looking at A NEW MESSAGE to type into. I didnt touch a thing! I didnt choose to archive my stuff! So, I have had delays in urgent matters as a direct result of not being aware that without my knowledge MS chose to archive everything I write! Now every day I go into "archive" to check on emails that people are saying that they never got. Why is this happening? Why am I restricted from writing emails without direct interference of being archived against my will or choosing or even clicking. I cant even archive an email if I wanted to! Yet it happens every single time I start writing a new email. Can you tell how frustrating this is? I have suffered actual financial loses because of this!

Is this a setting? Is there a reason I cant send new emails without losing them during the first sentence of typing? I have TRIED TO FIND OUT HOW TO ARCHIVE EMAILS and cannot CHOOSE TO ARCHIVE but somehow the powers that be archive my stuff anyway. I just dont get it. I have used MS for 25 years, and this is how I leave for good. I have had enough. Hours on end of searching for emails for months now that have not been sent because of some glitch. I have had losses and hardships as a result of PEOPLE NOT GETTING MY EMAILS BECAUSE MS IS ARCHIVING EVERY SINGLE EMAIL THAT I WRITE IN THE SECONDS AS I AM WRITING THEM. I DONT KNOW HOW TO STOP THIS. I AM GOING TO KILL ALL OF MY ACCOUNTS if someone doesnt try to help me stop my emails from automatically archiving against my will please.

I wonder if google and yahoo customers also have no control over being restricted from writing emails due to a glitch that hides their emails. Not only that, but whatever email I read previously stays in a TAB at the bottom of the writing panel. I didnt notice this when it first started happening. And I inadvertently typed private information that caused me a **** ton of problems because of the TABS ... It went into the previous email, and before I could STOP IT , it went anyway. Then I had to email everyone telling them that my email server is screwed up, keeping multiple emails open, despite my efforts to close one before starting another. This is hard to explain to someone who thinks it's insane that this is even possible!

Why would MS forcibly make us keep open tabs of previously read emails? Is it for YOUR convenience? Is there a NEW SETTING that I can change to prevent myself from accidently writing and reply to and from the WRONG EMAIL? I will bet that there wont be any technical support help for me.

thanks

Anyone figure this out? It is also driving me crazy. No way I can find to turn off auto archive on the web version at least.

It actually makes the program unusable. How could they not have a fix for this?

Same exact thing happened to me! It was driving me nuts, I turned off shortcut keys and it stopped for awhile, only to start again today. I am also using Firefox.

Do you keep your computer on for a long time? I do, but just tried a restart and now it's stopped doing it (for now). Before it was archiving everything and opening up a new email tab at the bottom of the screen. Incredibly annoying and unreal it hasn;t been diagnosed yet.

Same here! Microsoft notifies me almost every day about some major update to their system so I thought this would get resolved rather quickly. Very disappointing trying to run a business where emails are an essential part of our process. Anyone have any suggestions for other email services?

I am having this same issue through office.outlook.com. I am also having issue with typing and then. It doesn't do what I'm typing. It skips spaces and will erase some of my type.

I thought it was just me until I received a call from a client and there are two at her organization having this same issue.

This definitely needs attention from Microsoft.
