    Hello! My name is Mustafa,

I am hopeful that I will be able to help you find a satisfactory solution.

Whether it is safe or not depends on who you received it from and what was the context of this email.

If the domain of the email sender is: @accountprotection.microsoft.com only then you can trust and open the link anything else is not from Microsoft and it is a scam.

Here is the full article that explains what email from Microsoft you should trust: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

If it is not from the domain above then refer to this article from Microsoft on what to do with a phishing scam: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/pro...

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Note: This is a user-to-user support forum and I am a fellow user.

    Warm Regards,

    Mustafa
