I cannot receive external emails

I have gone through all the steps outlined when emails are not received. There is something going on externally with the definition or process of the emails.

I cannot receive emails from any external source.

I can send an email to myself.

I can send an email to someone.

And yes, I checked the usual suspects:

it is not in "Other"

It is not in spam

I don't have "work offline" enabled

The same issue is happening on my other laptop with Windows 11, so it is not in the profile or definition that get corrupted.

This is a relatively new email definition (less than a month old)(and hardly used). So, I may not have noticed the issue from the get go.

    I have the same issue. The email was working normally till 2 weeks ago. I am able to send messages to people outside my company and can only receive emails from the people inside my company. I had checked all the blocked settings, web version of outlook, etc.

    The error message that the sender recieves is : remote 134.119.176.20 said: (connect: Connection timed out (errno = 10060)) connect remote host failed (134.119.176.20:25).

    How can I resolve this? The other users in the company don't have this issue.

    Hi I have the same issue, it started the 11th or 12th Jan 2025 so apparently the same time like the first user wrote.

    I am using the outlook on the mobile as an app that opens in chrome and not using the web on the laptop.

    I changed nothing in the settings, I even didn't open the settings.

    I am using a third part email account on outlook and yes it is from an organization.

    I wrote an email to myself and I got it but I got no other email from no body since the 11th Jan.

    If you can help me it will be great.

    Please allow me to confirm some details to assist you. Firstly, regarding 'external,' do you mean this is a work account and you are not receiving emails from outside the organization? Or is this a personal account and you are not receiving emails from anyone else?

    Secondly, I need to confirm whether your account is a Microsoft domain email or a third-party email. Are you using Outlook Web or the desktop application (Outlook (new) or classic application)?

    Please log in to the web version first to see if you are receiving emails normally. Please provide me with these details so I can identify the possible issue.
