How to create Service Principal with Azure Monitor Read permission

How do i assign Monitor Read Role https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/roles-permissions-security#monitoring-reader to a Service Principal?
I can't find anything related to Monitoring in the "Directory Roles" that azure it showing me.
