Microsoft Dynamics 365 for a Global Enterprise with Subsidiaries having diverse currency, taxation and HR regulation requirements

Question

We are a global product/service provider with a Headquarter in Australia, but Subsidiaries in New Zealand, North America, Europe and India.

Can Microsoft Dynamics 365 be used to manage all subsidiaries in one Holding company or does it require to set up a Microsoft Dynamics 365 instance for each subsidiary?
