PPT not syncing on multiple devices

I am using PPT on multiple devices (Windows desktop computer and 2 iPads). When I work on the same file on the 3 devices, the three devices show a different number of slides in the PPT. How can I get them to sync up?

Thank you. Dividing the file into smaller ones worked. It’s too bad PowerPoint doesn’t tell you when you approach capacity on a file before completely freezing up.

It's a file stored in OneDrive but that was shared with me. I believe the problem may be that the file is too big as I can't even download it to my computer. I will have to cut slides out and create more small files...

Please do give that a try and let us know what you learn.

    Hi Astrid,

Thank you for posting your question in this community.

May I confirm with you that whether this scenario occur with all the PowerPoint presentation files or this particular file in OneDrive? I suggest you can try to create a new blank presentation file and check whether the same scenario occurs when you work on your Windows desktop device and two iPads.

Additionally, since you mentioned it is a presentation file with big size that shared by others under “Shared with me”, have you tried to break this presentation file into smaller files? How is the result?

    Best regards,

    Dihao

Where is the file stored?  In order to synch, you'd need to save it to OneDrive and open/edit it there from all your devices (though you could download it to your PC, edit, then upload back to OneDrive).
