Hello there!

I've using Microsoft Forms for online tests and exercises for two years long, but I am in trouble since then, to trying avoid students cut-and-paste, cheating and proctoring during these activities.

I tryed use Autoproctor, but some security restrictions and internet bandwidth restrictions made it impossible to use with a large numbers of students (60 to 100 in the same classroom), specially when they are conected to same access point... So, I am looking for an Microsoft Forms integrated solution that help me online tests monitoring - something that works like Autoproctor - but that run locally or in a client-server architecture, on a cloud (like Azure, for example) and that not requires a lot of security changes or an specific infraestructure... An application I could install in the students computers, so they run that app, connect to Microsoft Forms by the link, and run the test, under the my restrictions previously set, like no ctrl-c + ctrl-v, cheating, AI tools or search sites (like Google, Bing, etc). If somebody know an app like this one or, if there is somebody interest in to develop something like this, I will very pleased to help or, if possible, build a project team to work in that.

Thanks a lot!

    Dear Luis,

To be honest, what you want to achieve can't be achieved isn't related to the local environment or the cloud environment or an app solution. Microsoft Forms is just a cloud -based form tool.

In Microsoft 365, you can embed Microsoft Forms with HTML on a website or embed a form in the Office applications such as PowerPoint. The Microsoft Forms can be integrated to many applications. However, it doesn't prevent users copy and paste data from other sources, perform AI search with a browser and so on.

What you need to do is to set an Intune or a group policy on the browser and disallow the website search and disable the AI response on the users' devices.

For example: Disable Copy & Paste Option is MS Edge in Kiosk Mode - Microsoft Q&A

How to disable Copilot in Microsoft Edge via Intune policy or any other way? - Microsoft Q&A

Disable Microsoft Copilot in Edge using a GPO - Microsoft Q&A

If you need further help on the policy configuration, I suggest you post a new thread on the following specific support channel at your convenience.

    Microsoft Edge - Microsoft Q&A

Microsoft Intune Configuration - Microsoft Q&A

Your efforts and time are greatly appreciated!

    Sincerely
