Hi,
I use two laptops, the second is an Asus, OneDrive is synced on both and I am OK with that, but I do not know what I did and the desktop shortcuts of the other computer wound up on the desktop of the Asus, and it is syncing more than 20 GBs to the Asus OneDrive that I do not want synced.
Is there a way to stop this and reverse it if possible?

When you use OneDrive to sync a device, that will sync the Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders by default, and if you use the same Microsoft account on both devices, then OneDrive syncs your files from the cloud between the two devices so you have access to your files on both devices.
The only way to stop OneDrive syncing your files between the two devices is to either use a different Microsoft account on each device or disable OneDrive on one of the devices.
I have been using these two PCs for some time, and OneDrive was synced on both of them, but recently I did something and files were added to the OneDrive on the second PC that I did not want added, about 23 GBs
Can I remove these files from the second PC OneDrive?
It is only safe to delete the files from the second PC if you first unlink OneDrive from that PC or your account, otherwise, any files you delete on that device would also be deleted from OneDrive online and also from the other PC.
I want the OneDrive on the second PC, I have had it as backup for years, I just need to stop the syncing of these new files permanently.
Actually those new files have not fully synced as they so large, 23 GB, I have been able to stop syncing but is starts again when I turn the PC on.
Is there a way to stop these files from syncing when I turn the PC on?

If you do not intend to use OneDrive on that device, uninstall the OneDrive app from the Settings app - Apps - Installed apps.

On the second PC, right click the OneDrive cloud icon in the system tray area on the right side of your taskbar, and open OneDrive settings, in there, you should be able to unlink OneDrive.
With regards to what files have been synced form OneDrive, that is not so easy, you may be able to find that out by opening your Documents, Desktop and Pictures folders, set View to Details and look at the creation dates of the files.
