Authenticator app not working

When I try to log in, it tells me to get a code from the authenticator app. No code shows up and there are no other alternatives for ways to log in. I've just started using it, and it hasn't worked at all since I started. Any ideas?

If your Authenticator app is not showing any codes, there are a few things you can check:

    1. Time Synchronization: Ensure that the clock on your mobile device is synced correctly. If the time is off, it can cause issues with the codes generated by the app. Check the time settings on your device and make sure they match the current time.
    2. App Installation: Make sure that the Authenticator app is properly installed and updated to the latest version. If you have just started using it, ensure that you have set it up correctly by linking it to your account.
    3. Push Notifications: If you are using an app that sends push notifications (like Auth0 Guardian), make sure that notifications are enabled for the app. Sometimes, the app may not provide a code but rather a notification to approve the login.
    4. Alternative Authentication Methods: If the app is not working, check if there are alternative authentication methods available, such as backup codes or SMS verification, if those options were set up during the account configuration.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact support for further assistance, especially if the app is not functioning as expected.
