How do I open "Command Prompt?"

To open the Command Prompt in Windows 11, follow these steps:

1. Select Start, and then in the Type here to search dialog box, enter cmd or command prompt.
2. Select the Command Prompt app result that appears in the search results.

Alternatively, you can also open it by navigating through the Start menu:

1. Click on Start, then choose All apps to open the list of installed apps.
2. Scroll down to find the Windows Tools folder, and within it, you will find Command Prompt.

You can also run Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking on the Command Prompt app in the search results and selecting Run as administrator.

Select Command Prompt from search results.
