To open the Command Prompt in Windows 11, follow these steps:
- Select Start, and then in the Type here to search dialog box, enter
cmdorcommand prompt. - Select the Command Prompt app result that appears in the search results.
Alternatively, you can also open it by navigating through the Start menu:
- Click on Start, then choose All apps to open the list of installed apps.
- Scroll down to find the Windows Tools folder, and within it, you will find Command Prompt.
You can also run Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking on the Command Prompt app in the search results and selecting Run as administrator.
