Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

Are you seeing these unsuccessful sign-in attempts mainly on your @outlook, @gmail and @yahoo aliases connected to your Microsoft account?

    You can check here https://account.live.com/Activity

If you notice an alias getting targeted, you can disable sign-in for that specific email. This helps block hackers who might have gotten that address from a data leak.

Once you know which alias is being targeted the most:

    • Please note that if it's your primary alias, you won’t be able to disable it. You can only disable sign-in for @gmail and @yahoo aliases, or @outlook/@hotmail if they are not set as the primary alias.
    • Go to https://account.live.com/SignInPreferences
    • Find the email address being targeted in the list and uncheck the option to use it for signing in
    • Click "Save"

Next, just to be safe, I’d recommend to sign out everywhere. Visit: https://account.live.com/proofs/manage/additional Scroll down to Sign me out and select "Sign me out".

To prevent this from happening again, if you haven't already, I recommend turning on two-step verification and reviewing your recent activity page to make sure your account is fully secure. I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

If you are experiencing constant attacks and unauthorized access attempts on your accounts, there are several steps you can take to enhance your security:

    1. Use Strong Passwords: Ensure that your passwords are complex and unique for each account. Avoid using easily guessable information.
    2. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Since you mentioned using multi-authentication apps, ensure that MFA is enabled on all accounts. This adds an additional layer of security beyond just passwords.
    3. Monitor Account Activity: Regularly check your account activity for any unauthorized access. If you notice anything suspicious, take immediate action to secure your account.
    4. Contact Support: If you feel overwhelmed, reach out to the support team of the services you are using. They may be able to provide additional security measures or help you secure your account.
    5. Consider Account Recovery Options: If your accounts have been compromised, use the recovery options provided by the service to regain control. This often involves verifying your identity through email or phone.
    6. Use Security Software: Install security software that can help protect against malware and phishing attempts, which are common tactics used by hackers.
    7. Change Security Questions: If your accounts allow it, change your security questions to something only you would know, making it harder for attackers to gain access.
    8. Be Wary of Phishing Attempts: Be cautious of emails or messages that ask for personal information or direct you to suspicious websites.

Unfortunately, I cannot cancel logon attempts or restrict access to specific devices or locations. However, following the above steps can help mitigate the risks and secure your accounts against unauthorized access.
