i am getting error code 49 after click on update since this new laptop has preinstalled office hence unable to access the same also don't know the product code

    Thank you for the information. You don’t need a product key if it's preinstalled. It activates by signing in with your Microsoft account.

    Please open Word - File - Account

    -If asked, sign in to activate.

    If you're still having issues, please go to control Panel - Programs - Microsoft 365 - Change - Quick Repair

    -If needed, please try Online Repair.
